The Portland Cooperative for Creative Learning

Arts and Artists for Children in Need

SHARING THE DREAM

PCCL is a corps of volunteer "Teaching Artists" connecting Portland's at-risk children with the arts and living artists at absolutely no cost to the child; sharing artistic motivation and guidance in the hopes of creating a positive individual and community change.

"Teach a child the tools of expression and you give him the skills to manifest his imagination..

..it's not about his artwork, it's the revelation that he is the creator of his dreams."

~ Cynthia Graham, Founding Artist

OUTREACH

Thru a single-session Show/Tell/Create curriculum designed for the age group, the Teaching Artist works directly with children (K-12) who are otherwise not exposed to the arts and living artists due to financial, geographic, or cultural isolation.

Become a Teaching Artist today or contribute to the Cooperative by donating your dollars and art supplies to support our Teaching Artists as they reach out to Portland's children in need.
